This is a partly-reconstructed (in 1972) shipping box which formed part of the outdoor museum I put together from miscellaneous finds. Peculiar to the Buckley Railway between Buckley and Connah's Quay. They were able to be used on or off the rails but there was more risk of damage to the flange off the rail.
