Thanks so very much for the lovely parcel you sent me. I am sure it is very kind of you both to think of me.

I must thank so very much for the photo. I was so pleased to get one of you both. I think it is splendid. I hope you will excuse me not writing. I will write you a letter as soon as possible. I thank you both for your kind wishes.

I send the card with my very best wishes for Xmas and wish I could be with you.
