Army Veterinary Corps card sent home during WW1"

1916

This card was sent home by a member of my family while somewhere in France during World War 1. My aunt, Priscilla Jones, is featured in photo 7.173 with an unknown uniform. This could be the Army Veterinary Corps, in which case it would have been sent by her.

The small card, with the legend "Forget me not" and the sprig of holly, is inserted into the embroidered envelope. The reverse of the card states:

Fabrication Francaise

E.C., Boulogne-sur-Mer, Lille.

Author: Hayes, John Eric, 1918
