TWENTY ROW, BURNTWOOD
Situated between Bank Lane and the old Grandstand public house (now The Burntwood) was a compact row of 19 houses. Even so, the name "Twenty Row" was the local identity. Here dwelt a close, compact community, noted for its individuality. A future member of parliament was brought up in this gregarious commune.
