There will be a Corporate Communion for members of the Mothers Union at Bistre Church at 8 a.m.

Lent - Week-day Services will be as follows,

Wednesday Mornings - Holy Communion at 8 p.m.

Wednesday Evenings - Evensong and Sermon at 7 a.m.

The Church calls us to renewed efforts during Lent and appeals to us to take stock of our lives and to consider with ourselves whether we are as faithful as we should be in the service of our Redeemer. We are living in an age of materialism and pleasure, and we should ask ourselves seriously whether, in the hurry and excitement, we are giving too much time to Caeser and too little to God. We could make many suggestions with regard to the observance of Lent. But we will confine ourselves to two remarks which will be intelligible to all,
