Thomas Crozier Jones employed Phil Jenkinson at the Gatehouse. Phil and Alice Jenkinson married after the war and lived at Plas Bistre, where they shared with George Ivor Hodnett (known as Ivor) and Amy Hodnett. They took over the business in the late 1940s, when Thomas Crozier retired.
