A SMALL SELECTION OF BUCKLEY BRICK PRODUCTS

 

18TH, 19TH AND EARLY 20TH CENTURIES

 

The STABLE GUTTER enabled the urine to drain from the stable floor.

 

VENTILATION TILES: The picture shows both sides of the same tile.

 

CHIMNEY POTS: A selection of ornamental pots made by different firms. Top left - Castle. Top right - four-legged bishop.

Bottom right - a common square. Bottom left - Lady Broughton. Middle - beehive.

 

 

GAY LUSSAC TOWER BALLS: These were placed in a tower and the chemical solution being made trickled through them and enabled complete solution of the gases. Used for converting various chemical gases into liquid acids. Gay-Lussac was the inventor of the tower balls.
