New works at the Elm Crossroads"

Elm Crossroads, Pinfold Lane, Buckley

1965

This site was bought by Flintshire County Council in Autumn 2003 to accommodate the council's vehicle fleet ( refuse vehicles, gritters, maintenance vans). The previous depots at Dobshill, Mold and Queensferry were closed as being outdated and crowded and new workshops were being established within the existing buildings on the site. Formerly the site had been occupied by Welsh Water/ Hyder and, next door, Nationwide Site Services.
