THE SALMON FISHERS
Along the shoreline from Shotton to Oakenholt, local salmon fishermen net their catches of salmon. A man achors one end of the seine net at the shore and his companions are across the river enclosing the glistening silvery catch. The scene depicted is off Oakenholt. The power station is now demolished. The warning tower is the official end of the River Dee.
