The waggon depicted in this picture is Sentinel DG6 built in 1927, seven years before the SA waggons were even built. I conclude that the DG6 (a rigid six-wheeled Sentinel waggon) is works number 7417, Reg. DM 6070 and was sold to Castle Fire Brick Company on the 28th June 1928. Sadly this waggon has not survived into preservation.
