BUCKLEY JUBILEE INTERNATIONAL

Visitors to the town in 1995 were a famous band from Czechoslovakia. Along with the Royal Buckley Town Band and all the religious denominations in the town, they made a colourful gathering at the opening assembly on the common.

Notable was the addition of several new banners representing merged Methodist chapels, but sadly a corresponding number of the original banners of individual places of worship have gone into retirement.
