The soil on this plot in Willow Way, opposite the entrance to the Trap car park, had been formed into a neat bund. (April 2002)

By April 2005, detailed planning consent for one acre and outline planning consent for another three acres had been granted by Flintshire County Council to Leason Homes. Newt protection fencing had been in place for some time. The land had been redesignated for housing rather than industry, an alteration to the Local Plan. There was local opposition to the application.
