Buckley Junction Railway Station signal box looking North"

Bannel Bridge, Buckley

1950

This signal box was nick named 'The Lighthouse' by local railway staff because it was so tall. It was designed this way so that the Signalman could see over the top of the Bannel Bridge towards Wrexham.
