CATHERALL'S TRAP BRICKWORKS

At time of closure in 1980s. At this time, the Brickworks were owned by Butterley Brick. Jonathan Catherall's original firebrick works was sited in this area. The gardener in the picture was employed to look after the ground adjacent to the main office at the entrance to the brickworks.
