MOUNTAIN LANE SIDING OF THE BUCKLEY RAILWAY
This branch line extended from the original Buckley Railway terminus at Knowle Lane. It was in use for several years as a coal merchant's depot after the colliery closed. The colliery was situated on the left hand side. A spoil heap formerly existed on the right.
The land could have been used as a storage space for bricks prior to collection.
