The Church was not able to afford a new organ so this second-hand one from Crewe, reconditioned and improved, was installed in 1943. In the search, Church officials had travelled at their own expense to Huddersfield and London. It was a single manual pedal organ of eight stops, with electric wind supply. The organ chamber was built by the men belonging to the Church.
The official opening was on a Saturday and was performed by Councillor Joseph Mealor, of Hawarden; the service was conducted by Circuit ministers Rev. G. W. Broomhead and Rev. C. S. Morris with Rev. Robert Shepherd, M.A. The organ was played by Tom Roberts. Afterwards, the ladies served a public tea. In the evening there was a concert presided over by Mr W. Davies of Buckley.
