1967
The site of Willow Grove, a recent development by Leason Homes, was once the site of North Wales Timber. Prior to the actual development, the site was excavated because it was the site of a 16th century pottery, complete with kilns. The excavating team were looking for the remains of a potter's cottage but were unsuccessful because the cottage had already been demolished and a new house built in its place. This photo was produced as evidence that the cottage was no longer there.
