His daughter Mary Elizabeth (Cissie) Griffiths married John Mitchell. head clerk at Ewloe Barn Works.


Mary and John Mitchell had a daughter, Joy, and a son, John who became bridgemaster at Bristol's Clifton suspension bridge.
