TUNNEL LOOP or "EAT UP, NEDDIE!"
A horse tramway tunnel once existed on Knowl Hill. It was approached by a small loop line whereby empty trams could wait for loaded trams to emerge from the tunnel.
Whilst waiting, the horses often took a drink of water - or maybe a nice bunch of grass from a charming young lady.
