Buckley pottery stew pot"

1930

This type of pot was used commonly to make stew. Meat, potatoes and onions would be placed in the pot which would be placed in the oven to cook. It would have had a lid with a knob handle in the centre. These pots were used throughout the time pottery was being made in Buckley.
