MISCHIEVOUS BOYS ADMONISHED AND FINED
Before Mr Jonathan Catherall, Mr James Peters, Mr Levi Thomas, Mr George Parry, and Mr Peter Wilcock, on Monday, 35 boys were summoned for stone throwing on the Common on June 19th, 20th and 21st. The Chairman admonished the boys very severely, and said that if any such cases came before them again they would be dealt with very severely indeed. A fine of 2s each was imposed on each offender.
