TEXT OF ACCOMPANYING PLAQUE

This coat of arms of the former Alyn and Deeside District Council was installed by Buckley Town Council in the year 2001.

The motto at the base of the Coat of Arms reads:

GWASANAETH GWERIN

The plaque was made by Stuart Millward. It took about four days to free-hand carve from the soft clay.

It was originally installed at the Alyn and Deeside civic offices, Ewloe but brought to Buckley.
