William Owens house and workshop in 106, Spon Green. The business moved to 149 - 151, Brunswick Road. My great-grandfather, Edward Owens, died in 1893. He was a journeyman blacksmith who lived at Ty Isa, Meg's Lane. Edward Owens' father was a farrier in the battle of Waterloo, who became the blacksmith at Hart's Heath, on the Penyffordd Road to Pontblyddyn.
