Evening: Arrive in Buckley between 5.00 - 9.00 pm

Monday 10th July

Morning: Meet at Bandrom at 9.30 am

Lunch: 12 noon - Elfed High School, Buckley

Concert: Duration approximately one hour, for groups of Pensioners -

Elfed High School Theatre

Tea: 4.30 pm - Bistre Church Hall

7.30 pm Meet at Bandroom - Concert at Lane End Club

Tuesday 11th July

11.00 am. Civic Reception - Buckley Council Chamber

12.00 noon Civic Lunch - Windmill Grill, Buckley

2.30 pm Jubilee Celebrations (Parade)

Afternoon: Tea - Bandroom

Evening: Social meeting with members of the Royal Buckley Town Band

(Venue - Bandroom)

9.00 am Meet at Bandroom for seaside visit (Llandudno and Rhyl)

Lunch: Packed lunch will be provided

4.45 pm Haven Hotel, Rhyl (Tea booked)

Evening: At leisure with host families

10.00 am Leave Bandroom for visit to Vauxhall Motors

1.00 pm Lunch followed by half hour Concert for the personnel of

Vauxhall Motor Company

Tea: Bistre Church Hall

7.30 pm Meet at Bandroom - Concert at Bistre Club

9.00 am Leave Bandroom for visit to Chester (shopping and sightseeing)

2.30 pm Leave Chester

3.00 pm Visit to Alyn and Deeside District Council in Hawarden

4.00 pm Tea at A.D.D.C., Hawarden

7.30 pm Meet at Bandroom - Concert Royal British Legion Club,

Penyffordd (followed by Disco and supper)

Morning: At leisure with host families. Possibility of Football match

at Buckley Sports Centre

12.00 noon Lunch in the Elfed High School, Buckley

Afternoon: Rehearsals (both Bands) for Festival concert

4.30 pm Tea - Elfed High School

Evening: Festival Concert - Elfed High School Theatre

Sunday 16th July

Morning: At leisure with host families

12.00 noon Concert at the Royal British Legion Club in Buckley

(Refreshments provided)

3.00 pm Late afternoon (meal with host families)

8.00 pm Social at Woodhouse Hotel (Ponderosa) for both Bands plus hosts

and friends
