FLINTSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTION
EWLOE DIVISION
Ladies and Gentlemen,
At the invitation of a number of friends and neighbours - Liberal, Labour, and Unionist- I have consented to be nominated for the Ewloe Division of the Flintshire County Council, and, if elected, will do all in my power to represent all parties.
We know that there has been waste in many departments and I feel that it is up to every one of us to try and reduce the terrible burden of the Rates, owing to which Rents are high, and Industries crippled.
To my friends of the Labour movement let me say that no one has greater regard for their welfare than I, and after my experiences with many of them in France and Egypt, how else could it be? Let me assure them that they will always have my first consideration and assistance.
If you do me the honour of electing me as your representative it will be my greatest pleasure to serve you faithfully and to the best of my ability, fighting strongly for economy with efficiency.
I am
Ladies and Gentlemen
Yours faithfully
