Mrs Jane Brookfield (Jane Fisher Ellis) with her daughters:

Kate - Catherine Ellis married Edward Edwards. Descendents are farming Garreglwyd in 1990s.

Eleanor - Eleanor Ellis, my grandmother, married John Philip Gibson (Phil).

Elizabeth Ann - married James Allam.

It is possible the ladies are in mourning on the occasion of John Brookfield's funeral in December 1889.

Jane Brookfield had eight children by George Ellis and three by John Brookfield. She was a most remarkable and very attractive woman.
