Gibson's Belmont Brickworks

Built on the middle common near Powell's Pottery. Closed 1912 and demolished. The Belmont housing estate was erected on the site.

From the pool on the left, a ramp led to higher levels. A drainage truck was raised and lowered by means of a wheel mechanism at the top. It was filled with water from the pool and disposed of in a drain.
